Job Title: UI/UX Designer
Job Description:
- Develop and maintain documentation of the style guidelines, including the design systems, patterns and usage guides for future reference.
- Collaborate with product managers and engineers to define and implement solutions for simple, consistent, intuitive product flow, visuals and experience that address product, marketing and business needs.
- Effectively communicate your ideas, concepts and design solutions to various stakeholders and incorporate feedback into your designs.
- Execute all visual design stages from concept, visualisation (e.g. wireframes, storyboards, user flows, process flows, site maps) to final hand-off with provided UI components to engineers.
- Support the QA team to make sure features are implemented as intended.
- Conduct testing and user research to assess users feedback and experience.
- Improve the look and feel, from the layout menus and drop-down options to colors and fonts, of the existing web and app product.
- Conduct industry research and stay up-to-date on best practices, competitor UI designs and emerging technologies.
Job Requirements:
- Strong attention to details and a keen eye for esthetics, such as typography, layout and visual elements.
- Knowledge in creating wireframes, storyboards, user flows, process flows and site maps.
- Excellent visual design skills with proficiency in design softwares and UI visualisation tools.
- Sensitivity to user-system interaction and knowledge in responsive design and grid principles.
- Desire to learn and grow as a UI designer.
- Keen to work to create rapid prototypes.
- Ability to solve problems creatively and effectively.
- Ability to innovate and develop out-of-the-box solutions to user interaction problems.
- Good communication skills and can clearly articulate your ideas, designs, and suggestions.
- Good team player who can collaborate effectively with different stakeholders.
- Effective time management and ability to prioritise multiple tasks.
- Proactive and can work independently.
- Interest in latest UI trends, techniques, and technologies.
- Experience with web and mobile app design.
